PF-2561 Paper Flocking Adhesive

Water-based paper flocking adhesive for gift boxes, paper packaging, crafts and greeting cards.

Product Overview

PF-2561 is used for paper and paperboard flocking where excessive penetration, paper deformation and surface appearance are common concerns. It is best evaluated with the buyer's actual paper, printing layer, flock fiber and drying temperature.

This page is written for application screening and sample discussion. Final performance should be confirmed with the buyer's substrate, process route, test method, and acceptance standard.

Typical Applications

  • Gift box flocking
  • Paper packaging flocking
  • Craft products
  • Greeting cards

Key Features

Paper penetration control

Paper and paperboard need surface holdout. Excessive penetration can reduce flock density and change the paper shape.

Packaging appearance and hand feel

Packaging projects usually care about touch, color appearance, edge cleanliness and drying temperature as much as raw adhesion.

Paper deformation screening

The buyer should test on the real printed or coated paper because ink, varnish and lamination layers can change wet-out.

Testing Suggestions

Test on the real molded part, paper, foam, hanger, glass or metal surface instead of only a flat reference panel.Record cleaning method, surface activation or primer route, flock fiber, application method, drying temperature and drying time.Check flock loss, peel or scratch behavior, abrasion, heat aging and humidity aging according to the buyer's use condition. For PP/PE, flexible PVC, silicone or rubber-like substrates, discuss pretreatment and aging targets before requesting a final TDS.
