HF-5082 Foam Flocking Adhesive

Water-based foam flocking adhesive for sponge, toys, cosmetic foam and packaging inserts where hand feel and fiber anchoring matter.

Product Overview

HF-5082 is positioned for foam and sponge flocking projects where the adhesive must wet a porous surface without making the part too hard. The trial should record foam density, flock fiber, application method, drying condition and the expected rubbing or washing condition.

This page is written for application screening and sample discussion. Final performance should be confirmed with the buyer's substrate, process route, test method, and acceptance standard.

Typical Applications

  • Foam flocking
  • Toy flocking
  • Cosmetic sponge flocking
  • Packaging insert flocking

Key Features

Controlled foam penetration

Foam and sponge can absorb adhesive into the body of the material, so the trial should check both surface anchoring and hand feel after drying.

Soft hand feel and flock anchoring

A good foam flocking route should hold the flock fiber without making the finished part feel overly hard or boardy.

Abrasion or washing trial support

For cosmetic sponge, toy and packaging uses, rubbing, washing or handling tests should be chosen according to the customer's real use.

Testing Suggestions

Test on the real molded part, paper, foam, hanger, glass or metal surface instead of only a flat reference panel.Record cleaning method, surface activation or primer route, flock fiber, application method, drying temperature and drying time.Check flock loss, peel or scratch behavior, abrasion, heat aging and humidity aging according to the buyer's use condition. For PP/PE, flexible PVC, silicone or rubber-like substrates, discuss pretreatment and aging targets before requesting a final TDS.
