Coat the buyer's actual fabric
Water-Based Anti-Slip Fabric Coating
Anti-slip fabric coating forms a flexible, higher-friction backing layer on mats, automotive floor mats, bags and selected shoe materials. It is a coating route, not a two-substrate bonding adhesive.
Application requirements
What the adhesive route needs to handle
Common substrates
Common failure problems
- Insufficient grip
- Coating cracks on bending
- Poor fabric anchoring
- Blocking after stacking
- Whitening after water exposure
Selection logic
Start with the use case, then narrow the route by substrate, process window and failure mode.
Recommended product routes
- Application-matched water-based anti-slip coating after fabric and process review
Sample request checklist
- Fabric sample and end product
- Coating side and method
- Target coating weight
- Available drying temperature and time
- Grip, wear, water and washing test method
Testing suggestions
Record coating weight and drying
Check bending, blocking, dry grip, wet grip and wear separately

FAQ
Is anti-slip fabric coating the same as a lamination adhesive?
No. It forms a functional coating on the fabric surface or backing. The required grip and wear tests should be defined before sampling.
Can a friction coefficient or wash-cycle target be confirmed before testing?
No. Fabric structure, coat weight, drying and the buyer's test method must be confirmed first.
Request a sample for this application
Send us your substrate, coating method and current bonding problem. We will suggest a sample route before sending detailed TDS.
