Split ordinary and difficult paper surfaces

Uncoated paperboard, coated paper, film-laminated board, UV varnish and metallic card have different absorption and surface energy. Test each construction separately.

Also identify the failure location. A corner rebound problem, seam opening and poor wet-out on film may require different adjustments.

Reproduce the gluing process

Manual brush, roller, spray, glue wheel and automatic nozzles apply different amounts and create different open-time demands.

Check initial grab during assembly, then inspect the box after the normal pressing, stacking and conditioning period. Record line speed and paper temperature when they matter.
